Root & Tuber Specialty Fertilizer

Our Root & Tuber Specialty Fertilizer is a scientifically formulated liquid fertilizer designed to support the full growth cycle of root and tuber crops such as potato, carrot, sugar beet, cassava, onion, garlic, and shallot. It combines highly active free amino acids with essential secondary and micronutrients to improve tuber expansion, nutrient uptake, and crop resilience.

Technical Specification:

Amino Acids ≥100g/L, Cu+Fe+Mn+Zn+B+Mo ≥20g/L

Ingredient Concentration
Free Amino Acids 100g/L
Mg 30g/L
Fe 5g/L
Mn 2.5g/L
Cu 2.5g/L
Zn 10g/L
Water-soluble Boron 1g/L
Vitamin B6 0.5g/L
Biological Lactic Acid 2g/L

Benefits:

Specially developed for the entire growth cycle of root and tuber crops. This highly active water-soluble fertilizer containing amino acids uses multiple L-α free amino acids as the core carrier, scientifically blended with chelated Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Boron, and active substances like Vitamin B6 and Biological Lactic Acid, deeply meeting the unique needs of underground organ development in these crops. It strongly activates root expansion and nutrient metabolism efficiency through highly bioactive amino acids. Chelated secondary and micronutrients target and optimize leaf photosynthetic efficiency, promoting the efficient transport of assimilates to the underground sink organs. Vitamin B6 and Biological Lactic Acid work synergistically to precisely balance the cytokinin/auxin ratio, activate enzyme activity related to tuber cell division, promote nutrient uptake, strengthen root cell wall structure and antioxidant enzyme activity. This both provides continuous nutritional supply for tuber bulking and enhances crop resistance to soil-borne diseases, reducing the inhibitory effects of stress on tuber development. Ultimately results in uniform tuber shape, smooth and dense skin, increasing yield and profitability.

 Applicable Crops

Root and Tuber Crops: Potato, Carrot, Sugar Beet, Cassava, Onion, Garlic, Shallot

Key Features & Benefits

Tailored for Root & Tuber Growth

Compared with general fertilizers, specialty formulas like this provide balanced, crop-specific nutrition that addresses common nutrient deficiencies found in soils where tuber crops are grown, ensuring the right elements are available when the plant needs them most.

Enhanced Nutrient Uptake & Transport

  • Free L-α Amino Acids act as efficient carriers for nutrient transport and metabolic energy, helping improve photosynthetic performance and assimilate transfer from leaves to underground organs.

  • Chelated Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), and Boron (B) boost enzyme activity, chlorophyll synthesis, and nutrient availability in soil and foliage.

Supports Cellular Development & Stress Resistance

  • Vitamin B6 and Biological Lactic Acid balance plant hormones (cytokinin/auxin), enhancing cell division, root strengthening, and stress tolerance.

  • Improved tuber shape, skin quality, and resistance to soil-borne issues increase marketable yield and profitability.

Holistic Crop Growth Support

Specially tailored fertilizers ensure root and tuber crops receive the ideal blend of nutrients that promote:

  • Vigorous early root development

  • Improved tuber filling and size uniformity

  • Higher carbohydrate accumulation

  • Better stress resistance and disease resilience

Application & Usage Guidelines

Foliar Spray

  • Dilution: 800–1000×

  • Frequency: Apply every 7–10 days for 2–3 consecutive applications during key growth stages.

Fertigation / Drip Irrigation

  • Apply 15–30 L/ha through irrigation systems for efficient uptake.

Precautions

  • Do not mix with strongly acidic or alkaline products without prior small-scale compatibility testing.

  • Reapply at reduced rates if rain occurs within 4 hours of spraying.

Cautions:

1.Avoid mixing with strongly acidic or alkaline fertilizers and pesticides, as this may affect product efficacy. If mixing with other products is intended, conduct a small-scale compatibility test first.

2.Reapplication at a reduced rate may be necessary if rainfall occurs within 4 hours of spraying.

Storage:

1.Store and transport in the original container. Keep sealed in a cool, dry place.

2.Store separately from food, drink, and feed. Keep out of reach of children and livestock.

Production Date and Lot No.: See bottle cap. Shelf Life: 36 months.
